It may be difficult at first to see the BOWTIE -- but look for it, made of strips around each teal circle!
There is some fading on this classic Southern style quilt, made just after the turn of the 20th century. I won't apologize for it, though because I think various shades of teal create movement and make the quilt cool, and perhaps more interesting than the original.
This one is otherwise in Excellent Condition, and has some well executed hand quilting. The back, a tartan plaid, is brought around to the front to create the binding.
