Of a generous size (78 x 90 inches), this 19th century Feathered Star quilt could work on a modern bed. It also looks great on a wall, or folded in a stack.
I like the unusual and appealing color combination which sparkles with more colors than we typically see in Feathered Stars.
Nicely hand quilted and in excellent, sturdy condition with some slight fading in a localized area, seen here in the lower left quadrant of the full photo. Thin and lightweight.
Bordered with the green straight line strip on three sides and separately bound with a charming cotton madder print.
