A quite rare form of Crazy Quilt -- or perhaps just an unusual type of applique. I call the genre "Free Form Applique," in that the pieces are random and unconnected.
Not really a Crazy, and definitely not a "Tile" quilt -- which involves carefully cutting shapes to better "fit." (See last photos for comparison).
Single layer. Very good condition.
