To me it looks as if each of the nine standard Log Cabin block floats above a kind of \"Hit and Miss\" background. The design both jumps around and is grounded, all at once.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eS\/he did another interesting thing with the quilting. Using dark thread she machine quilted to make diagonal lines that subtly \u003c\/span\u003eemphasizes the diagonals created by the patchwork. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll cottons, and in Excellent Condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs for the quilt's origin, I wish we knew. I was lucky enough to buy several improvisational quilts, all found in Alabama.
