A classic 19th century indigo and white applique quilt in a design that is an abstract French fleur de lys. Just home after a hand wash, this one is in excellent condition -- clean, thin and lightweight.
Beautifully hand work ... the applique stitching is marvelous. The hand quilting is impressive: tiny, even stitches, and in elaborate quilting designs in coding feathers. This is definitely not the quilt maker's first project!
