Well, this quilt maker found her way to organizing many different cotton fabrics into a lively and pleasing whole. The striped print serves as a stabilizing structure of this scrappy quilt ~ a brilliant choice.
The Bars back, pieced strips of two printed cottons, was a frequent choice of Pennsylvania quilt makers. In this case, it mirrors the design on the front, and makes the quilt reversible.
Lightweight, with simple hand quilting.
