The printed patterns for this Nursery Rhyme quilt were first published in 1922 by the Ruby Short McKim Studios. Over the years, I have rarely seen a full-size quilt with the complete set of these patterns. Typically we see a small selection of the designs organized in much smaller crib quilts.

The now-unknown quilt maker was an embroiderer par excellence, executing exceedingly fine, consistent stitching in blue thread. The hand quilting is also expertly done, weighing in at about 10 stitches per inch, counting one side only.

Quilt is in Excellent Condition, except for two blocks that have spotting. One of those has very light discoloration. Another, with a child singing(see photo), has significant spotting. I've not tried to remove or lighten them.
