Sewn "on foundation," this piece appears to be a large fragment, measuring 46 x 64 inches. Plenty to work if you choose to use it in an updated project.
A terrific array of printed fabrics, all different, and all typical of the printed cottons of their era, available to the everyday homemaker. It includes some cretonnes ~ note the horse and woman rider in the photo detail.
Condition is very good; the piece is crisp and sturdy. Occasional mild staining. Many of the pieces are outlined in single thread hand-embroidery, a nice additional touch.
