Two Quilts in One! Reversible ~ Both Sides are Great!
Double sided. As a tied quilt, we can assume that the side with the red yarn tufts (second photo) was intended as the front, but you can use it any way you like.
One side is organized into what is often called a "House Top" in Alabama; the other side is organized as a Central Medallion.
In Excellent Condition, with a pleasing musical balance, and full of great mid-20th century cotton scraps.
Davy ... Davy Crockett ! Remember him? He's represented here as his 1950s TV self in a couple of places in this scrappy, improvisational quilt See third photo. A graphic and fun piece of American folk art!
