Nineteenth century Pennsylvania German quilt makers frequently "decorated" all over on their quilts. They often used a majority of printed fabrics, and even sometimes made a secondary design on the backs of their quilts. Like this one!
This square crib quilt, measuring just over a yard square, is full of early printed cottons, including some with the gorgeous and desirable Prussian Blue dyes.
In Excellent Condition, except for some stains on the back in the lighter cotton print. (See photos.) Hand quilted. Separately bound in yet another lovely print...
