Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt
Unidentified Quilt Maker
Circa 1960
64 x 78 inches
Found in New Brunswick, Canada
A most unusual way to organize a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. I don't think I have ever seen it done in rows of consistent color. And the way she dotted the scalloped edge... wonderful.
SO many pieces in this mid-20th century all cotton quilt, found in Canada. Even the white (textured) background is entirely hexagons. Surely someone will have the patience and wherewithal to figure out the number of individual pieces.
Perfect Condition and all Hand Quilted.
