The Nine Patches here are filled with a variety of late 19th century printed cottons, the kind used in everyday clothing of the era.  I like her choice of setting those blocks "on point" ~ and within a diagonal grid of green and cheddar.  It sings!

This classic Southern quilt displays very well (as you can see), and is in generally Excellent Condition.  But ... some of the small squares have weakened (see photos) Display it as it is ...or, if you do some restoration yourself, this could be a fun project.

This one's a generous size, is very well made, and is hand quilted.
