With one patch embroidered "Tony '34," and with a stick figure playing basketball, we are assuming this Crazy Quilt was made for a baller in the maker's life ... and made sometime after 1934.
Primarily velvets, this quilt is in very good condition, with some light wear to some of the velvets, and a bit of weakening to some of the silks. Visible in the photos. The back and edge are in great shape.
Quilt is tied through with a good number or ties -- showing only on the back.
