I find it super interesting how the colors in Double Knit fabrics are so, so vivid ... and they seem to stay that way forever!
The quilt maker, using only synthetic (and predominantly textured) double knits, created a sensational design out of simple pieces. It's a vibrant, robust abstract arrangement of squares and rectangles -- a quilt!
Measuring approximately 70 x 74 inches, it is well suited for a wall. I can hardly wait to see what one of you does with this piece! (Send photos!) It is hand quilted, simply and in a squared-off Fans style. The back looks to be a floral bedsheet (see photos).
