This handsome early 20th century is made primarily of wools (with a cotton back), and hand quilted throughout, in dark thread.
I'm using the approximate date (1925) that was on the tag attached to this quilt, which Jonathan had purchased from a very knowledgable and respected dealer in Wales.
In very good, sturdy condition with a couple of older repairs, done very well, and visible in the photos below.
