~ A Treasure Trove of 19th Century Prints ~
Fifty six blocks, each holding a patchwork Basket with an applique handle. The nineteenth century printed fabrics throughout are so many and so varied.
That one red Basket in the upper left remains a ... ??? ... mystery.
Check out how the fabric and the shape of the handle in that one differ from all of the other Basket blocks.
All the fabrics remain intact, save for one, limited to one Basket. See my last photo to see that one weak fabric.
Hand quilted, nicely but sparsely, in dark thread ~ It is the glorious fabrics that have been spotlighted here.
