This little treasure is entirely cotton and very well pieced. Beautifully hand quilted, with the fine stitches Amish quilters are known for.
I can't vouch for when this was made, but I am guessing around 1950. It could be newer, but not likely much older. The price reflects my lack of confidence in dating it.
Excellent Condition. The colors are those we associate with the largest Amish community existing today -- that in Holmes County, Ohio. The maker used a few different blues, and set the blues with black -- Holmes County, Ohio style!
