One Patch Quilt
Unknown Quilt Maker
Circa 1990
82 x 82 inches
Origin Unknown
In Excellent Condition, all cottons, and of a generous size. Hand quilted in simple lines with nice, even stitches.
The overall design looks like a patchwork design known as "Rail Fence." But each square is printed stripes, so this is technically a One Patch quilt.
Although I have not seen this design before, I think this quilt may be an imported item. One of you out there may know.

So what's a Move Along?
-
There comes a time in every antique dealer’s life that requires she “Move Along” certain items in her inventory. When is that?
- When your shelves are too full, and you are buying lots and lots of wonderful things, it’s time to slash some prices.
- When quilts have been around a long, long time, it’s time to slash their original prices.
- When the cabinet of “WASH” or “REPAIR” quilts is overflowing, and you just don’t think you will ever really get to it, it is time to price those quilts accordingly: “cheap”Move Alongs (only) are always sold “As Is,” with no returns.
