Trapunto Urn Applique Quilt
Unknown Quilt Maker
Circa 1930
82 x 84 inches
Origin Unknown; Found in Ohio
It's unusual to find trapunto (stuffed quilting) in 20th century quilts. This quilt came with two others, apparently made by the same person. One of those was dated 1931.
In Excellent Condition with the occasional spot. Strong, sturdy fabrics. Hand quilted, and hand stuffed.
Have you ever wanted to have a trapunto'ed quilt? Here's your chance for less money than you thought possible...

So what's a Move Along?
-
There comes a time in every antique dealer’s life that requires she “Move Along” certain items in her inventory. When is that?
- When your shelves are too full, and you are buying lots and lots of wonderful things, it’s time to slash some prices.
- When quilts have been around a long, long time, it’s time to slash their original prices.
- When the cabinet of “WASH” or “REPAIR” quilts is overflowing, and you just don’t think you will ever really get to it, it is time to price those quilts accordingly: “cheap”Move Alongs (only) are always sold “As Is,” with no returns.
