So much to love about this mid-19th century applique quilt ... it's a beaut!

A red and green applique design I've not seen before.
An unusual border scaled to fit perfectly to the corners
Exceptional hand quilting in elaborate designs, weighing in at about 10 stitches per inch (counting one side only)
Thin and lightweight. Recently washed
And in Excellent Condition.
