Large and newly washed, this one is ready to go. The traditional design is called "Orange Peel; it's a variation of Robbing Peter to Pay Paul. Very sparsely hand quilted. In very good condition.
It's an interesting example of how a quilt maker sometimes has to make adjustments if her blocks are not exactly precise. You have to look carefully to notice how s/he "eased" the blocks together to fit a ninety degree corner at the bottom right.
The Wild Goose Chase borders create additional movement to the already graphic design.
