Super graphic appliquéd "Pineapple," filled with red and white Half-Square-Triangles. Or is it a Strawberry? Pinecone?
The triple bar sashing meets at every intersection forming a lively red and white Nine Patch, adding to the graphic appeal.
Not in perfect condition, but for me, its rarity and charm eclipses the problems. There are a few light stains. One lentil-size hole in the red border, and the red edge is slightly rough in a very few places.
Thin and lightweight, and lightly hand quilted.
