Unidentified Quilt Maker
78 x 84 inches
Found in Missouri
This inventive quilt maker, using traditional elements, created her very own version of "Bear Paw." She turned the traditional block inside out, creating what one might call a "pigeoned-toed Bear Paw"!
She also created a distinct edge with a row of triangular half-blocks turned on their side. Topsy Turvy thinking! Terrific! She made a memorable patchwork quilt.
The quilt displays well, as you can see in the photos. There are a few stains, and the very edge of the binding is weakening in places.
Rounded corners, separately applied binding, and hand quilted.
