A Great "Lone Star" Quilt ... found in the Lone Star State!
The large single Star design, composed of diamond shapes, has many names. "Lone Star" is the most common but it is also known as "Star of the East," "Blazing Star," "Star of Bethlehem" ~ and a few others.
This example, made circa 1940, is in Excellent Condition, has tons of tiny pieces, and is hand quilted.
There's not much I can add about this spectacular Texas quilt that isn't apparent in the photos. What you are seeing ~ is what you'll be getting!
