This appliquéd textile is so "of its time," isn't it?  A snapshot/timecapsule of 1970s West Coast aesthetics -- the Funk and Flash Era!

Made with cottons, linen, and varied upholstery fabrics, and with a heavy cotton back, it has some weight, but is perfect for display on a wall.  Hand and machine sewn.  Hand and machine embroidered. 

S/he got all the San Francisco landmarks, and more.  Beautifully designed and reminiscent of a very happy time.
