Freshly washed and in Excellent Condition, this early 20th century applique is now ready to go to a new owner...   

It's rare to see fine trapunto in  20th century quilts, but here we have one.  I bought it  with two other quilts seemingly made by the same person.  One of those others, which shared fabrics with this one, was dated (in the quilting) –"1931."

Strong, sturdy and with hand quilting, executed in a nice even hand. The feathers, which the maker stuffed from the back, are tight and beautiful!
