This exceptionally large quilt displays some major hallmarks of the Pennsylvania German style: It is made entirely of bright printed cotton colors, and has a printed back.
At almost 90 inches square, this would work well on a modern bed; it is also in extraordinarily good condition -- it appears to be unused. The cottons are all strong, sturdy and absolutely intact.
Hand quilted in nice even stitching, this beauty is ready for the lover of late 19th century Pennsylvania quilts.
