The soothing colors in this 1940s Rail Fence quilt are interrupted by there and there by the occasional solid darker tones -- giving the quilt something a "little extra," like the surprise raisin in a classic oatmeal cookie...
In very good condition and hand quilted, simply but confidently. All cottons, primarily the kinds of pastel prints so available in the Depression Era.
