Here's a lovely 19th century design that makes for an airy, cheerful quilt. Found in New York State but, sadly, without further information as to its origin or maker.
In excellent condition, with an occasional spot. Strong and sturdy, with vivid color.
Beautifully hand quilted in fine, even stitches, especially dense in the white areas, which are filled with feathered wreaths.
