"Hopscotch" Velvet Quilt

Those of us who love quilts and want to display them in our homes sometimes run out of wall space for full size quilts.
This 20th century tied quilt, made primarily of velvets is a great size for hanging in the right narrow space: measures 54 x 70 inches.
The maker outlined each of the geometric pieces with yellow hand embroidery which amplifies the boldness of the colorful design. The graphic design will be fabulous in the right room!
I love that dark printed fabric in the center with 1950-ish images of children playing Hopscotch. Such fun! Someone's original design, I'd think. Quilt is in Excellent Condition and ready to go!
