The maker of this quilt had an eye for design and detail. Her triple border sashing is so strong, and those (machine) appliquéd red crosses bring this one to design greatness. I've shown it here oriented both horizontally and vertically. I love them both.
The wonderful graphics here outweigh, by far, the few condition issues. Although the quilt has been washed in the past, there are some stains on the back and a few on the front. There is very slight fading, which is even and does not detract. I have not washed the quilt.
The fabrics are strong, sturdy and intact; the quilt is thin and lightweight. Hand quilted in Clamshell or Fans. I found this in Oklahoma and I would not doubt OK as its origin. The quilt is OK -- and even better!
