Oh, MY, the fabrics in this early Lone Star quilt!  We can't print them like we did 170 years ago...

Although there is a small amount of fabric damage at the edges and in a few places in the border, this quilt displays beautifully.  It would do well own a bed or a wall, on a guest bed, or folded. We do not recommended it for regular use on an "active" bed.

The overall graphics are stunning, and the needlework is beautifully executed. But check the  photos to see that  it is a bit rough on the very edge and in a few places within the outer border.  As far as I can tell, however, the entire interior is intact.

Hand quilted and simply stunning, the color, fabrics, richness and graphic layering here distinguish this early treasure.
