President's Wreath Quilt

I think it's fair for us to assume that this was not this maker's first quilt!
The 19th century appliquéd wreath quilt is both beautifully designed and expertly executed. I like the way the quilt maker placed the nine floral blocks, setting them within perfectly scaled vining borders.
Her fine and even hand quilting stitches create a ground of crosshatching throughout and then she added elegant Feather Wreaths around the appliquéd wreaths.
Of a generous size, and recently washed, this classic is in Excellent Condition, and ready for a wall or bed.
