Log Cabin Quilt, Silk Ties
Unidentified Quilt Maker
Circa 1950
58 x 58 inches
Origin Unknown; Found in Tennessee
This mid-20th century quilt maker found such an effective way to use silk ties!
She placed colors with great intention it seems -- and created a kind of combination of Log Cabin and Attic Windows. A great balance of movement and stability, with the illusion of depth. A feat.
Measures 58 x 58 inches, a great size for hanging. Machine quilted. Excellent Condition: strong and sturdy. No condition issues noted.
