"Arrows" Quilt

A unique interpretation and organization of just a few traditional shapes found in so many patchwork quilts. I call this one my "Arrows" quilt. It has been on my personal quilt collection for quite some time. I'm feeling ready for this treasure to go to another loving owner.
By organizing her quilt entirely of only (two-sized) triangles and a simple rectangle, the quilt maker created a memorable, graphically striking overall design. One of a kind, and a quilt I will long remember.
All cottons with a couple of double pink prints, sold red, and solid cheddar (technically called "chromium orange"), and entirely had quilted. The back is two different double pink fabrics, and the maker turned the back fabric over to the front to create a narrow pink binding as a finish.
The quilt has appeared in several museum exhibitions over the years, and like a greets racehorse, is ready to be retired!
