If I absolutely HAD to, I'd figure out how many pieces there are in this wonderful scrappy late 19th century quilt. Who's going to take up the challenge?
Some of my photos have a quarter in them to give a sense of the scale here. And while there are a few places where a tiny triangle has damage (see last photo), the quilt displays beautifully. And this beauty has a nice sleeve already attached.
It's rather unusual to see a "Prairie Point" edge this early, and the consistent green there frames the quilt perfectly. The clustering of yellow in the center, echoing the border, also gives the eyes a place to rest.
